Marlina has been a four year Soccer player at Marcos de Niza. She was named Most Valuable Player three times and named to the Arizona Republic All-East Valley First Team. She has been named to the Central Region First Team in her sophomore, junior, and senior years. Marlina was the Arizona High School Player of the Week in December 1999. She is listed in Who's Who Among American High School Students for the years 1999-2001. When not playing Soccer, Marlina is involved in various school activities. She is the Student Body President, serves on the Superintendent's Student Advisory Council, and is a member of the National Honor Society. Marlina ranks 25th in a class of 477 and carries a 3.63 grade point average.
Marlina is the daughter of George & Durkje Fletcher.
