Kyle is the son of Jim and Ronda Pitman and a senior at Desert Vista High School, with a GPA of 4.0 and a class rank of 25 out of 707 students. He has been selected to All-City Basketball and Volleyball teams and is an All-State Honorable Mention for Volleyball as a junior. Kyle was the team captain in both basketball and volleyball as a senior. He is also a member of the 2nd Academic All-State team.
A National Merit commended scholar and member of the National Honor Society, Kyle is also an officer in the Rho Kappa Social Studies National Honor Society. Kyle worked with the Special Olympics, Relay for Life, and Feed My Starving Children Program. He worked as a camp counselor for the Phoenix Suns Basketball Camp.
