The daughter of Michael and Sally Lombardi, Jillian is a senior at Desert Vista High School, carries a cumulative GPA of 4.0 (4.81 weighted) and a class rank of 26 out of 709 students. She has been selected to the Tempe All-City Girls Track and Field team in both 2017 and 2018. Jillian’s honors include being a 4-year Varsity letter recipient; she is a school record holder for Triple Jump and Long Jump; and 6th all-time in the 100M and 200M. She has been a State qualifier throughout her high school career.
Additionally, Jillian received Desert Vista Track and Field – Most Valuable Player in 2017; Best Horizontal Jumper in 2016; and Desert Vista HS 2016-2017 Junior Athlete of the Year award. She was named team captain in both her Junior and Senior years. Jillian has been a member of the Desert Vista Dance Senior Company for 4 years, receiving her Varsity letter in 2016.
Some of Jillian’s other activities include the National Honor Society, Rho Kappa National Social Studies Honors Society, and National Science Honor Society in 2018. She is a 3 year recipient of the Desert Vista HS Academic Excellence award as well as a 3 year recipient of the Dr. Voie Stuart Chase Coy Scholar Athlete Award. During her junior year she was a member of the Desert Vista Student Council, organizing and promoting school activities. As a Freshman Jillian held a leadership position as Treasurer of the National Charity League, Ahwatukee Foothills Chapter. She has volunteered many hours at various philanthropies, and has provided free dance instruction to dancers at summer camps.
