Jennifer has earned four varsity letters in basketball and three in volleyball at Corona del Sol High School. She was named to the All-State volleyball team and also was Division 1-AAA Most Valuable Player this year. She was named to the All-Division first team as a junior and senior and was varsity MVP the last three years. She was a South All-Star team member as a senior. She earned All-Division honorable mention in basketball as a junior and senior. She also earned All-City honors as a setter in volleyball in both her junior and senior years, and as a forward in basketball as a senior.
She has been named Student Athlete of the Year, one the DAR Good Citizen Award, Tempe's Outstanding Youth Award and was named an Academic All-Star as a senior, and she was a state poetry contest winner as a junior.
In addition to the special honors she received, Jennifer was captain of the volleyball team the last three years, and was captain of the basketball team and captain of the Arizona Junior Olympic volleyball team the last two years. A four-year member of the Letterman's Club, she was secretary/treasurer of the organization this year.
Jennifer has been active in the Tempe Soccer Club and last summer accompanied the Arizona Sunbirds soccer team to Scandinavia. She is a member of the Tempe YMCA and worked with the Special Olympics program. During her freshman and sophomore years she was MVP of the Ahwatukee swim team, winning the Maude Bliss Leadership Award in 1985.
