Brian has been a two sport athlete at Mountain Pointe and was previously honored as an All-City Wide Receiver in Football at the Fall Banquet.
Brian has received special recognition at the state level, being named Valley of the Sun National Football Hall of Fame Scholar Athlete 2002, and 5A All-Star Team. He was First Team All-Region and Offensive Player of the Year as a Wide Receiver from the Central Region. He was also named All-Southwest Valley Wide Receiver.
Brian ranks 18th in a class of 522 and carries a 3.97 grade point average. He is involved in school activities such as National Honor Society, Renaissance Club, and Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
His community activities include: YMCA Youth Soccer Coach, Andre House Volunteer, St. Vincent de Paul Volunteer, Relay for Life Cancer Walk and collecting and serving food to the homeless.
Brian is the son of Julio & Karen Hernandez.
